wanderlust wednesday [travel list challenge].

11 Apr

One of my favorite healthy living bloggers, Julie at Peanut Butter Fingers, crossed genres today when she posted her responses to the Travel List Challenge that is floating around the web these days.

I love to travel, and it’s hard to believe that a year ago I was in-between trips to Mallorca and Ibiza, and planning one with a friend to Munich. It seems like a lifetime ago sometimes, and when I daydream I miss the ability to jaunt to another country for a couple of nights (cheaply, of course) and to stroll Madrid’s broad boulevards at all hours of the day. So, since the only traveling I’m doing anytime soon is between West Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles, I thought I’d follow Julie’s lead and post my answers to the Travel List Challenge.

I’ll have to do this! I’m not sure right now! I loved this post.

Thanks, Kaley!! Looking forward to reading yours 🙂

I thought about doing this… then realized I don’t think I have pictures from most of the places I’ve been. We need to work on that.

    Also I’m embarrassed you’ve been to places in England I haven’t. #studyabroadproblems

Haha only 28. Though it’s my own fault for not going to Stonehenge or Dover while I was in England.

Also how have you not been to Disney World?!!?!?!?… Maybe a little trip this summer?

The Alamo on there is kinda making me giggle.Didn’t realize its a tourist destination. Most people don’t believe its the *real* Alamo when they see it because its so darn tiny 🙂

    • gillian April 12, 2012 at 7:26 pm #

Is it? I had no idea! I’ve never been to Texas but it isn’t necessarily the first place I’d think of to go, either!

Oddly frustrating looking at this list and having been to the city but not to the monument, anyway, I’ve done 14 and will hit the Hagia Sophia in May, can’t even wait. I’m surprised more important places in Europe aren’t on this list.

    • gillian April 13, 2012 at 8:43 am #

I’m with you on the lack of European places – I checked off a ton because Spain dominates…but there’s definitely a few places on Germany that should have made the cut!

  5. Lily April 13, 2012 at 11:17 am #

Hell yeah we hit the GG Bridge!! This is probably why I have nothing left on my Berkeley bucket list except for Dollar Days… haha

    • gillian April 13, 2012 at 11:21 am #

Hahah omg I never went there either!! Please go. And take pics.
