bondi band review + giveaway

Recently Bondi Band sent me a couple of headbands to review.

 

Bondi Bands are thick headbands composed of a unique blend of nylon, lycra, and spandex. They come in all sorts of wacky styles and colors, and a bunch of them have great fitness-inspired sayings, which I love. Another awesome thing about Bondi Band is that they donate 10% of their pretax profits to charity!

I often run in headbands — I really like Sparkly Soul and BIC Bands, but was curious to try a thicker headband.  I received one that said “Suck It Up, Buttercup” and another that said “Run Like a Princess Today.” I HAD to give that one to my law school friend/gym buddy Alexis — her nickname at the gym is “Princess.”  I’m not sure how it got started, but ALL of our friends at the gym call her “Princess” — even when we’re out at a bar or something!

We sported our Bondi Bands last week in our 6 AM Body Pump class.  I loved the saying on mine – definitely had to live up to the saying when I was lifting at 6 AM!  Have you tried Body Pump??

I liked the headband — it did a good job of keeping my hair back and kept the sweat at bay.  I haven’t tried it running — but it’s perfect for the gym!
