lemon-aided sunday.

19 Sep

This Sunday, my friend and fellow 1L Krisse (I mean Kristina) and I made plans to grab lunch at a place I’ve been dying to try, Lemonade, and then study for a few hours in my favorite library (and weekend second home).

lunch date + study buddy.

I went with the southwestern club panini sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste – and the grilled panini bread was up my alley for sure. The side salad was a pretty hefty size as well, and I dusted it all off pretty quickly. I think for the price ($9) it’s hard to beat…especially in Beverly Hills.

Southwest club, turkey, avocado, artichoke, chipotle bacon mayo

There was also a whole range of lemonades to try – but Krisse and I decided to spend that extra dinero on dessert instead. The next time I come here, though, I’m trying the Hibiscus Lemonade.

The cupcake hit the spot – although the cake part was pretty dry. I’m a sucker for anything coffee, though, so I loved the frosting.

Overall, I really liked Lemonade and would definitely go back. After we ate, we headed to the library. We got there a few minutes before it opened and it literally had at least 20 people lined up waiting to get inside. This is my life.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Any highlights?

Glad you liked Lemonade. I’ve never ordered a sandwich there. I’ll have to try that next time!

Ah, I’ve been dying to try Lemonade ever since Whitney said how good it was. The food looks delicious…and don’t even get me started on those desserts. Yum!! I love macaroons.

I would like to try everyone one of those lemonade flavors! I’m adding this to my next LA tour. 2012 I am coming! 🙂
